Glossary of Terms
Aisling Cycle - There are eight Deochs on an Aisling (Era) Cycle. Each cycle is dedicated to a god, starting with Deoch and ending with Sgrios in the same order as they appear in the octogan.
Bait - In this handbook, bait typically refers to a form of food that is used to lure or entice an animal to the location it is placed. Bait does not necessary have to be food.

Breeder Loaning - The act of 'loaning' a pet to another aisling for a short time for the purposes of breeding. Usually the loaner temporarily gives their pet to the breeder long enough for the pet to become pregnant, or impregnate (whichever is applicable) the other aisling's pet.

Taming / Tamer - Domesticating. A process of making a previously wild creature tolerant (or welcoming) of aislings and mundanes. A tamer is an individual that captures wild creatures with the intention of making them a pet.
