Pet Tamer's Handbook

Green Droplet
Green Droplets can be found bouncing around the Asilon Prairie. With the appearnce of a green, bouncing, shining ball, they are a hit with tamers that are looking for the non-furry "cute" pets. These pets are relatively gentle and non-hostile unless you initiate the attack; even then, they may lose interest if you move far enough away.
If you are looking for a pet that requires low mantaince, has a unique look, and isn't a threat to your life, the green droplet is a great choice. In fact, the green droplet does not even have a mouth, but insteads absorb nutrients right from the air and sometimes water. They also appear to enjoy going on walks with their owners and interacting with other pets, including those outside of their species.

Other Methods of Obtaining a Green Droplet
Droplets are asexual, and so do not breed in conventional terms; instead, they have the ability to ‘split’ their bodies, creating a smaller duplicate of themselves. This ‘duplication’ seems to take place randomly, but not usually more than twice in the life span of an individual droplet. Green droplets that are under stress will not split, so it is important to keep your pet as content as possible.
Green droplets can be purchased from the Mundanes as well ((It is a Cashshop item, that costs 290 Kruna)).
Caring For Your Green Droplet
Although they appear like they might pop if poked, their outer layer is firm, but flexable. Lorekeepers have yet to figure out how droplets can remain this way yet still have the ability to absorb and hold solid objects within their bodies; in particular, it seems they like to pick up keys.
Green droplets cannot be "fed" in the traditional sense, so it is necessary for their owners to periodically take them outside, preferably where plant-life is in abundance.
They also do not have eyes, but rather make descisions based on information they absorb through their bodies: vibrations, smells, and the physical touch. It has been suggested that green droplets will become accustomed to their owner's scent, making it possible to remain close to their location.
Their ability to actual hear is still under dispute - can they actual understand words and sounds the way we do, or are they only picking up the vibrations through the air and translating them without true understanding?
Other Facts
In an ancient Medenian lore, blue droplets were depicted as the “children*” of a once powerful water goddess native to Medenia. This goddess became forgotten when aislings landed on the large island, but it is rumored that the Water Spirit that aislings now give reverence to was modeled in her image. This is likely the reason the Medenian government has outlawed keeping a blue droplet as a pet.
*The correct term is argued by historians as to whether the droplets were considered children in a literal sense of having been born of the goddess, or more of an attribute or minion to the goddess.
Droplets can freeze, so never leave them out long in colder climates!
Capturing a Green Droplet
Green Droplets are not shy when it comes to Aisling interaction. You should have no problem approaching a droplet. The tricky part is actually catching and containing the creature. Due to its water-like body, the droplet can easily change its shape, cannot be gripped, and can even ‘leak’ through cloth.
The best way to capture a droplet is to use a large jar or bowl and catch the green droplet within the container. Have a lid of some type handy, as the caught green droplet will try to bounce away just as quickly as it was contained.
Taming a Green Droplet
As mentioned in the previous section, the green droplet perceives the world differently than aislings, or even most other pets. Tamers and normal owners alike will need to take this into consideration when working with a pet green droplet.
Without the ability to see or most likely comprehend commands, taming will be all about familarizing your pet green droplet with you, and you with it. Consitancy will be the key with taming and training, so that the green droplet will be able to detect a pattern and begin to understand your expectations. Meanwhile, you will learn to predict its behavior.
Once the droplet has recognized you as it's owner it will be common for it to automatically stay near without much training or encouragement. As far as training the green droplet to follow other commands, the owner will have to come up with his or her own system to let the droplet know what is desired (such as staying put, moving away, etc.)
Untameable: Blue and Red Droplets
Blue droplets can be found bouncing around in the same areas as the green droplets. At this time there is a decree by the Medenian government forbidding aislings from owning a blue droplet as a pet.
That being said, it is not advised to attempt to catch them, unless you desire to end up in a Hwarone jail cell.
Red Droplets, on the other hand, can be found in Alsaids Fire Canyon. While there is no legislation forbidding their capture, they are listed here as non-tameable because it simply has never been accomplished. Their bodies are similar to both the green and blue versions of their species, however they have an unexplained heat property that melts or burns through anything they touch. As you can imagine, it would be difficult to catch or contain a creature that cannot be touched.
