College Governance

Political Status

The Mileth College is a Sovereign and Independent Territory, and a signatory in its own right of the Temuair-Medenia Jurisdiction Accords. It is not a part of the Republic of Mileth.

Governance

The Mileth College is governed by the Chancellery, whose members ('Chancellors') are formally appointed by Loures ((Kru)), typically on the recommendation of current members.

The duties of the Chancellery include:

- Overseeing the review process of works submitted for recognition

- Investigating cases of alleged violations of academic misconduct

- Supervising teachers and ensuring quality lessons are being taught

- Investigating cases of alleged misconduct by college teachers / nobles

- All in all supporting the aisling arts and pursuit of knowledge

Ramanayan Caesar

Ramanayan was sparked an Aisling in Deoch 13. He earned his first recognition in history in Deoch 18, and has been a teacher on and off at the college ever since.

Before becoming part of the Suomi Troupe in Deoch 187, Ramanayan was a long time politician in Mileth, having terms dozens of terms in both legislative and judicial branches, spread out over some 160 deochs, many in the old 'politics as bloodsport' era.

He was also the founder and long time leader of the guild Novus Imperia. This is where he met his future, the Lady Theowin; the two married in Deoch 55. Originally a follower of Fiosachd, Ramanayan has been a member of the Luathas clergy since Deoch 28.
