The Runes

Picture
As the practice of Casting Runes began to take shape, a standard developed for the runes themselves; eventually settling on thirty runes meant to represent the voices of the unheard gods. Since there was no formal Order of the Seer, each would develop their own unique voice or flair. Many made attempts to sort runes into hierarchies or group them into elemental families, but truly the wisdom and warnings of the divine is all we need concern ourselves with.

Runes do not need to conform to any size or shape standard, as long as all the runes in your set match each other. So long as you cannot discern any given rune from another while drawing from your bag, they may be flat, round, faceted; large or small. Find what feels most comfortable in your hands and the shape that best focuses your intent and energy. A full set of casting runes will include all the symbols illustrated below.
