Rogue

In this section, we will cover which skills and spells you will be using from the Rogue class.

*Note: This is not a comprehensive Rogue Guide*

Assassin Strike

Assassin Strike is yet another very powerful skill. This skill depends on the dexterity of its user. When used against Aislings, this skill has the potential to disarm the opponent. The drawback to this skill is that once the target has been attacked, this skill will not work. In order to use this skill at this point, it requires that the target be attacked by someone else, a poison trap, breisleich, or Amnesia (as will be discussed). This skill has a long cooldown but deadly damage.

Stab Twice

As a Rogue, you will get an additional powerful skill called Stab Twice. The cooldown on this spell is slightly less than that of Assassin Strike and there is no need to use something like Amnesia in order for it to work. While alone this skill isn't the greatest, it definitely packs a punch and makes the damage output of a Rogue even higher. This skill must be used with a Rogue weapon in order to work, this includes bows, daggers, and sooris. This does not work with whips.

Amnesia

This skill is very useful for making a creature forget who attacked it, hence the name. This skill can only be used from a distance, and can hit a creature 4 spaces away. This will only hit the creature that is closest to you in a straight line. The advantage of this skill comes from its ability to allow you to reuse Assassin Strike or Rear Strike. This is probably the easiest and quickest way to make the creature forget who attacked it, though it is not the only way.

Hide

lod443.png

Hide is a spell that makes you turn invisible. Only those with eisd creutair or Cat's Hearing casted on themselves will be able to see you. Monsters will not be able to target you while you are hidden. It is important to note that while lower level monsters will lose track of you after you hide, monsters in areas like Nobis will still see you after you hide if they saw you before you hid. This is still a useful spell to get around unnoticed and has a multitude of uses.

eisd creutair

This is a spell that allows the caster to see hidden Aislings. This can come in handy in numerous situations while both hunting or fighting in the arena. When casted, for a short duration all hidden Aislings will be slightly transparent and able to be targeted by skills or spells. If you are around another Rogue or other class that can hide, you will want this spell to keep track of everyone so that no one goes unaccounted for. No one will sneak up on you!

Status Traps

Traps are really what Rogues are known for. When cast, it places a trap beneath you and its function depends on which trap you cast. Sleep trap casts a brief immobilizing spell similar to beag suain. This trap does not work on Aislings. Blind trap stops monsters from moving but they can still phyiscally hit you if you get too close. It prevents Aislings from seeing. Poison trap causes the enemy to lose health each second that this is cast on them.
