The Plains and Prairie
Introduction
The Prairies around Asilon and the Plains around Noam are among the first things Aislings explored after the Seal to Medenia was broken [1]. The monsters in these areas are not hostile, unless provoked, and provide a lot of necessary materials for Aislings to become stronger and advance in their Medenian paths. Additionally, hunting these beasts has the extra benefit of keeping the caravans between Asilon, Noam, and Hwarone safe. These caravans transport Aislings to and fro, and are also vital for the trade that fuels these cities’ economies and stock up the stores Aislings rely upon.
The Quests
As is perhaps to be expected, not all monsters are equally aggressive towards caravans. In particular around Asilon, Fleals, Smoldies, and Pestdrels have been found to be the most problematic ones. Within the Noam Plains a larger collection of monsters has been deemed in need of culling: Death Stones, Hyenas, Black-Eyed Salogs, NamuNamus, Vultures, and Phowa Gladiators.
The Mundanes in Asilon decided to take action and recruit willing Aislings to help safeguard the caravans [15]. This task is handled by Lenoa ((Asilon Town 30,30)). Not long after, the citizens of Noam followed Asilon’s example and joined in rewarding Aislings for their assistance [16, 17]. In Noam, Marie ((Noam Inn 4,10)) is in charge of recuiting Aislings for this quest.
Not only can the aforementioned beasts negatively impact the Medenian trade by harassing caravans, they also make it harder for the Mundanes to acquire the very rewards they give Aislings who help them. In other words, completing these Medenian quests is a win-win situation!
Any Aisling that is already following a Medenian path can take part in this Daily Quest.
Rewards
The rewards for these two quests are summarised below.
They include a Daily Kill Quest Prize and either a small bunch of Pantica and/or Borim, or a Kanna Metal Necklace.
Those are very handy for low ability Aislings, as they need those items for progressing through the skills and spells of their Medenian paths!
The Daily Kill Quest Prize provides Aislings with 15 million experience points and a number of ability points that depends on their current ability level [A6].
Group kills do NOT count in Asilon
Lenoa is very busy and has no time to remind Aislings of what they need to kill
