The Alsaids
Introduction
After enduring intense heat and successfully crossing the Desert Dunes [4], Aislings finally arrived at the Alsaids region [5, 6], home to Fire Canyon, Hwarone, and the Veltain Mines [7]. Soon thereafter the caravan service between Asilon and Noam was extended to Hwarone. This made it so Aislings have a much safer travel, with Mundane assistance, through the Desert Dunes.
Some Deoches after Aislings first reached Hwarone, the Hwarone Parliament was introduced [8]. With it, the Hwarone military was estabilished and formal declarations of war against Andor and the Veltain Mines were issued. Both these entities are controlled by Queens who refuse to accept Hwarone’s rule over the Medenian continent.
Being situated between Hwarone and the Desert Dunes, the Fire Canyon is a region of great importance for mundane trade and commerce, as well as the caravans transporting Aislings into and out of the Alsaids. Once an area filled with Aislings thristy for ability points, it has been nearly abandoned for over one hundred Deoches, save for those wishing to kill Blazes in order to gain access to Hwarone.
Andor [2, 3], despite itself not being located in the Alsaids, is categorised here since the kill quest relates to the Hwarone war effort. It is a deceptively big area, with 140 rooms, under the rule of the Andor Queen. The Queen has a highly organised army of Ant Workers, Guards, Warriors, Captains, Masters, Royal Guards, and the King himself, not counting Boro, Boronang, Kaze, and Norajo.
The Veltain Mines also have a Queen in charge, with two lower bosses under her, Gan and Mong. Despite its smaller area, the mines are no less important to Aislings and Medenia itself than Andor. Veltain Ores, Veltain Smith Hammers, and many pieces of gear for Aislings following their Medenian paths can be obtained from the Treasure Chests found in the Mines.
The Quests
The Sewerman ((Hwarone City 97, 41)) who stands next to the passage between Hwarone and the Fire Canyon offers a Daily Quest that is similar in spirit to those of Asilon and Noam. He asks Asilings for help with making the way safer for caravans to and from Hwarone, as they will have already gone, or are about to go, through the harshness of the Desert of Fire and the Desert Dunes. The last thing they need is to be harassed by monsters so close to their destination, or just after leaving their starting point. Note that Aislings need to be at least of ability 7 in order to enter the Alsaids Fire Canyon, both from Hwarone and from the Desert Dunes.
Hwarone is always seeking help against its enemies: the Ants from Andor and the Grimlocks from the Veltain Mines. Civilians may also contribute to the war effort by accepting the Daily Quests from Okie ((Andor 1 20, 2)) in Andor or Mank ((Hwarone City 83, 43)) just outside Hwarone’s main entrance. Similarly to Fire Canyon, the Veltain Mines have a requirement of minimum ability 7. For Andor, Aislings need only ability 3.
Please take a moment to read about recording your kills, as entering boss rooms in the Veltain Mines will wipe your kill count.
Rewards
The rewards for all these quests include a Daily Kill Quest Prize.
The Daily Kill Quest Prize provides Aislings with 15 million experience points and a number of ability points that depends on their current ability level [A6].
Additionally, Okie and Mank are able to provide Aislings with extra rewards, since they receive extra funding from Hwarone.
The prizes are summarised below.
The Sewerman is very busy and has no time to remind Aislings of what they need to kill
Group kills do NOT count!

Group kills do NOT count in Andor
Okie will remind you of what you need to kill
In addition to one of the Andor earrings (Salve, Might, Enchanted, Power), the successful Aisling will be rewarded with an Andor Chest.
The earrings are useful for Aislings of insight 71 and above, and are also used for learning a variety of Medenian skills and spells.
The chest can be opened for gold, experience points, or a random piece of Andorian gear, such as armours, Andor Bow, or an Andor Ore [A2, A3].

Mank is very busy and has no time to remind Aislings of what they need to kill
Group kills DO count in the mines
Mank will reward the Aisling who completes this task with a combination of regular and heavy Veltain Treasure Chests, shown below. These chests are quite peculiar: they require the insertion of a number of coins in order to be opened, and the reward itself is also random [A3]. The most important prizes as of Deoch 214 are the Veltain Ores, from regular/blue chests, and the Veltain Smith Hammer, from the heavy/red one.
