Wedding of Lord Gnaeus Ramanayan Caesar & Lady Theowin Aurilius Featherquill
Friday October 14th 2005 6:00 PM PST - Deoch 54, Winter - Rucesion Chapel

-Guests began filling the Rucesion Chapel around an hour before the ceremony. Lightbeing acted as head officiator and prepared the Chapel for the ceremony.

-Gold lined the the front two rows of the chapel, which were reserved for officials. Sun roses covered the altar area.

-The imperial couple, officials of Temuair, and their honor guard arrived in Rucesion shortly after 6:00 PM PST.

-Presiding priestess Marrin and the officials of Temuair processed into the chapel as an old Latin hymn was sung:

APERI, DOMINE, os meum ad benedicendum nomen sanctum tuum: munda quoque cor meum ab omnibus vanis, perversis et alienis cogitationibus; intellectum illumina, affectum inflamma, ut digne, attente ac devote hoc Officium recitare valeam, et exaudiri merear ante conspectum divinae Majestatis tuae.

Lord, open Thou my mouth that I may bless Thy Holy Name; cleanse my heart from all vain, evil, and wandering thoughts; enlighten my understanding; kindle my affections, that I may worthily, attentively, and devoutly recite this office, and may deserve to be heard before the presence of Thy divine Majesty.

-Marrin told of the accomplishments and beauty of Lady Theowin, who then processed into the chapel along with her honor guard as the following song was sung:

Dieux, qui creas nos coeurs,
Tu les as faits sensibles;
Nous te devons l\'amour,
Le plus doux des penchants,
Rends par le chaste hymen nos moeurs incorruptibles,
Notre bonheur plus pur, nos devoirs plus touchants.

Lord, who created our hearts,
You have made them sensitive;
We owe you the most
Gentle of human love
By our nuptial bond our morals made incorruptible,
Our happiness more pure, our tasks more moving.
Marrin then told of the accomplishments of Lord Ramanayan, who then processed into the chapel along his honor guard as the following song was sung:

Oui, tu seras notre modele;
Tu n\'as point terni, tu n\'as point terni tes lauriers.
Ta voix libre, ta voix fidele
Est toujours, Est toujours presente aux guerriers,
Est toujours presente aux guerriers.
Au champ d\'honneur on vit ta gloire.

-Marrin then began with a blessing, moving up and down the aisles, sprinkling sacred dust onto the crowd.

-The imperial couple was then annointed with sacred oil on the palms and on the forehead by Marrin.

-Kufell then began reading an excerpt from the Sancheas Temuair:

A few of the less wise of the men became kings. Three lasting civilizations were born. Finach, presently known as Mileth. Sarnath, presently known as Gear Inbhir, and Niara. Crusades against neighbors arose, from which only the few in power or seclusion escaped toil, disease and death. Conquest became their religion. Elemental magic scattered the mountains and rained stardust on the heads of enemies.

Out of an obscene understanding of the elements was wrought a fifth element: darkness. From it, atrocious creatures were born. Some which died or vanished with only a lingering sense remaining, and others that the foolish summoner would wish that they had vanished. Their towns, too, would be eaten by the monstrocities.

Magic outside of the King\'s courts was generally prohibited thereafter. Kings, however, used the magic in their wars and in the imposition and sustenance of their luxury. The creatures became threats to neighboring enemies and internal opponents that challenged the throne.

Perhaps they screamed too loudly, or perhaps the thoughts of the living were too strong. The eighth aeon of Temuair was known. Wise men described it by the being that was born: Chadul, the ruler of the third realm: the underworld. The wise returned to the worship of Danaan, goddess of the light.

A war rose up of light and darkness, the armies amassed under Danaan or Chadul. Danaan convinced the other beings aid to her, and Chadul was defeated in three days.

-The wedding ceremony proper then began with the exchange of vows and a brief wedding sermon. When it came time for Marrin to preform final casting of marriage, the crowd was surprised when Ramanayan himself took over the ceremony and himself married Theowin and himself.

-Marrin then turned to Ramanayan and said in French "Que les deux benissent votre mariage et renge" (May the gods strenghen your marriage and reign). Lightbeing then proclaimed "The most glorious, the most august, Lord Ramanayan and Lady Theowin are now married! LONG LIVE RAMANAYAN! LONG LIVE THEOWIN!"

-The chapel then erupted in applause and shouts of "Long Live Ramanayan" and "Long Live Theowin" as special fireworks went off in the chapel.

-Ramanayan and Theowin, along with their honor guard then began to process out of the chapel while the following was sung:

Siecles fameux que l\'on renomme,
Brillez, revivez dans Mileth!
De Finach, Gear Inbhir de Niara et de
Les fiers enfants sont reunis
Les fiers enfants sont reunis.

En vain le reste de la terre
Rugit, nous appelle aux combats.
La liberte guide nos pas,
Et nous a remis son tonnerre
Courage, citoyens, formez vos bataillons!
Marchez, marchez!
Du sang des rois abreuvez vos sillons!
Marchez, marchez!
Du sang des rois abreuvez vos sillons!

-After a brief reception at Loures Castle\'s Grand Dining room the imperial couple left on a ship for Orphelias... alone.
