Event: Loures Murder Mystery II (Danaan Rising)


Announcement:

Loures has been investigating a recent string of thefts from nearly all religious fellowships as well as numerous historical and lore archives across Temuair. Loures investigator Knight Captain Renee Broca, when pressed when comment, stated:

"These aren\'t common thieves. They were clearly after information - as no objects of physical value were taken. That, combined with the dearth of temple membership in recent deochs, makes it hard to guess how long they\'ve been at this. We still have yet to find even a single member of the Gramail clergy - I don\'t suppose you know any?"

It would seem that Loures High Council has given this case a priority as they have named one of their own, High Councilor Vincent Pompeius Caparius, to take over the leadership of the investigation into these events.

Councilor Caparius hails from an illustrious family - grandson of General Gnaeus Pompeius Caparius - who was tragically killed in action putting down the "Raiders of Undine" rebellion of Deoch 39.

Like his grandfather before him - Caparius has requested aisling assistance. Lord Gnaeus Ramanayan Caesar will be serving as the liaison between aisling and Loures, as he and his guild Novus Imperia, have done for many events in the past.

Lord Ramanayan has announced that groups of aisling investigators will be assembled and dispatched during the upcoming Mileth Fair.

(("Danaan Rising" is an upcoming special, one time only, event hosted by Novus Imperia. It will will be held on Saturday January 12th at 6:30 PM Pacific (7:30 Mountain, 8:30 Central, 9:30 Eastern).

The event will begin at the Mileth Fairgrounds - near the fountain at the entrance. Participating players will form groups of three. All characters must be at least insight 11. Registered characters are not necessary.

Players will engage in an epic adventure spanning all across Temuair. Danaan Rising features a rich and unique plot filled with twists and turns and many aspects of Temuairian history and culture. Included will be puzzle solving, exploration, subterfuge, combat, diplomacy, political intrigue and much more.

As with previous Novus Imperia events - the most important new feature is the ability to choose. Depending on the choices a group makes during the event their overall experience may be vastly different from others.

The first four groups to successfully complete specific objectives (unknown to the participants) during the event shall be rewarded with a grand prize of one of four unique legend marks created for Danaan Rising.

Other prizes to be given out to other wining groups will include Hwarone Upgrade Plans, Warranty Bags, World
Shouts, Spell/Skill Leveling Bonuses and more.))

(This event saw the grandson of the Loures General in "Raiders of Undine" event of Deoch 39 trying to solve the mystery of his grandfather's death on Mount Giragan. Players needed to find: Who did the killing, who sponsored it, with what weapon and what was the motive.)
