The four poems below were written on the spot with a short window of time during the Heritage Fair hosted by the Suomi Troupe in the Poetry Palooza event. I hope you enjoy. ~Glory Calls~ Wild winds of the Undine west, Bring forth fortunes not laid to rest. Aislings rise to adventures call, Seeking treasures to impress them all. From Giragan heights to Chaos deep, Across the lands and seas we sweep. Creants claim to block our way, At masters feet they're left to lay. In lands afar new paths allude, Abilities arise to be pursued. Arena hosts to challenge anew, Beyond the gates gather your crew. Proud we claim our legends mark, But glory calls we must embark. ~East Woodlands~ Faeries flight is far and wide, Seeking shelter along your side. Curses fly and spells abound, Hunting treasures left on the ground. Swords clash to win the day, Help arrives too late I say. Seeking reds to keep alive, Reach in time your aid arrive. ~Dubhaim Castle~ Darkness lurks in sinister halls, Shadows move across the walls. Sgrios heart in depths unseen, Death and Decay is what you mean. Chadul minions shun the light, Brave Aislings move, stand and fight. Dubhaim gates might be breached, Rucesion walls would be beseeched. Luathas stands with knowledge divine, Bring forth the light to aid and shine. ~Lynith Sea~ Oceans deep the waves do crash, Along the shores my heart is brash. With ring of breath I take the plunge, Only to step upon a sponge. Along the paths I twist and turn, Pirates treasure I do yearn. X they say marks the spot, A shovel I wish I had brought. Creatures deep do abound, A Dark Necklace I have found. Treasures gold and silver do shine, Dachaidh home and sip my wine. ~Mayheart Merathai
